🥂Cheers to 59🥂
As I celebrate this beautiful number there are many thoughts floating about in my mind. As always here I am penning them down to share with you all. Age, I am thinking , is not just a number it’s a privilege and an honour. A chance every year to complete the circle around the sun’s orbit is truly a bliss. It’s an occasion to be celebrated loud and clear. Celebrated once a year but truly embraced and lived in every moment.
During my 55th year, when I began a new chapter in my life as a content creator, I felt fabulous and wished to feel that way forever. At 59 I am truly amazed at life’s ability to continuously unfold so beautifully and surprise us so pleasantly at so many levels.
I am no longer wanting to be a certain age. Instead I am excited to become a newer me at every stage and every age. I am excited for the possibilities.
This excitement begins with the realization that life doesn’t happen to us but rather through us. It’s not some magic that happens unknowingly. We have the power to co~create it with love and enthusiasm.
It all begins by accepting ourselves graciously and willingly for who we are and where we are in life. With this self-love begins the journey inward to find all that no longer serves us and all that truly ignites us.
It’s here that we find the strength to let go of what no longer serves us and the courage to hold dear all that truly nourishes us in our entirety – our mind, body and soul. It’s here that we feel liberated. It’s here that we begin to unfold into our truest version.
A version that does not stop growing at a particular age. A version that is, instead, glowing with gratitude and trust for what is yet to come.
