Expressing gratitude

Gratitude – The Magical Lens

Hello Friends,

I hope you are loving this first day of March with the beautiful sunshine as much as I am. Spring is around the corner and life is a bliss. It becomes even more blissful when we begin to look at life through the magical lens of gratitude.

For this week’s blog post I am sharing a link to an article I wrote for Empower’em Blog.

Empower’em is a youth group based out of Ottawa. Their mission is, “To build and empower Women of Colour and Canadian Newcomers to progress personally, professionally, and in serve of others through workshops and tools that build their leadership skills and provide them with the connections they need to succeed.”

It is my great honour to be able to contribute through my writing to their wonder initiative.

Let’s support and empower each other.

Devinder, I like your practical tips on how to put gratitude into practice. There are so many articles out there discussing the virtues of having gratitude without giving details of how to put it into practice and I really appreciate that you did that with this article. I like how you talk about feeling gratitude for your own body…this is sooo important πŸ™‚

That is so wonderful to hear Sarah. I am so glad you found value in the post. You are so right, we all tend to take our bodies for granted. It takes real effort to acknowledge and appreciate that through which we are able to live and experience life. I thank you for your feed back, as always it keeps me going πŸ’–.

Such a wonderful and wonderfully written article! I definitely will get caught up from time to time in life’s challenges and stresses and not stop to think for a moment about how much I have to be grateful for. But I think we all do that; it’s just so easy to think of the negatives over the positives and I wonder why that is sometimes. Great job Devinder! ❀️

Thank you for making the time to read Erica. Yes, we are all guilty of this and it definitely take a conscious decision to create the habit of gratitude. Once we do life changes forever πŸ’–.
